Personality:
Soft-hearted - Nagisa has a thing for sob stories, especially. She's a bleeding heart that's gushing to help other people, and when someone needs her help, Nagisa is right by their side.

Gullible - While Nagisa is one to listen to you if you need her support, she also majorly leans on the gullible side. She's easy to take advantage of and wouldn't even know the difference if you did. Con men and thieves would target her intentionally if they wanted good-stealing.

Naïve - Easily seen as one to always believe in the good in people. Yet again, this is absolutely to Nagisa's disadvantage. She doesn't view the world as it really is and doesn't see any reason to believe that anyone could be utterly vile and evil, and thinks everyone deserves a second chance.

Stubborn - Though she may be easy to take advantage of, Nagisa is not completely helpless. Knock her down, and she can and will find a way to get back up, whether by someone else's help or on her own volition.

"Proper" - A "Proper Young Lady". Raised by a wealthy, posh family, Nagisa was brought up to be very polite and eloquent. She never uses foul language and has been taught to keep a calm mind no matter the situation. Though she is usually the quiet girl sitting in the corner, these qualities would make her a good leader, if she only had the ability to take the lead.

Withdrawn - Hisakawa is a "do not speak unless spoken to" kind of girl. She may seem anti-social at first, when in fact, she does enjoy the company of other people, as long as said person is the first one to step forward and offer some kind of conversation. Nagisa will isolate herself and sit with her books of braille rather than go join a group of girls speaking of the latest gossip.

Backstory:
Nagisa grew up - you guessed it - under the wing of a wealthy mother and father in the Chiba prefecture. Mother was mainly a stay-at-home mom, while daddy was the head and founder of a big motor company in Matsudo. For her first few years, Nagisa's life was definitely not ordinary. While blind, teaching yourself to understand even basic necessities of life (walk, understand her surroundings, read) is much more difficult than it would be on someone gifted with sight. It was for this reason that Nagisa's mom suddenly dropped her attempt at training in nursing school to stay at home every day with her daughter. Apparently, not even Nagisa's nanny or the maids could be trusted with securely caring for her.

Though Nagisa did not have her sight, she had all the help, support, and care she could ever need. With loving parents who would spend all the money in the world to help Nagisa in her efforts to function in the world (Though it was all she had ever known), she was able to be given anything she could want to help her and more. She was home-schooled most of her life by expensive private tutors. From basic lessons like History and Math to learning Braille, dancing, and how to play the violin, Nagisa had strict teachers to help her learn it all, and from a very young age, she was set on really getting into ballroom dancing and the violin.

By Hisakawa's 16th birthday, the doctors snapped her parents back into reality; perhaps they weren't doing Nagisa any favors by holding her so close in all their protectiveness. While they did have enough riches so their daughter would never have to worry, Nagisa would never be able to learn how to function in the outside world if they didn't give her that extra nudge towards independence. And so, out of nowhere, her parents made the decision to push Nagisa to be accepted into Hoshino Academy - a widely-renowned academy of the arts, that Nagisa would've been a shoe-in to enter. Now, in recent light of her being accepted for her violin and dancing specialties, Miss Hisakawa does her best to adjust to school life without having her parents to come home to every day.
Other Information:
- Nagisa is blind.
- She is almost always seen with a walking cane at her side to help her feel her surroundings before walking into everything, but it isn't unlikely that she still bumps into things often.
- Although she may not be light on her feet when walking, she's a very graceful dancer.
- Cannot dance to hip-hop songs or anything like that for her life, only slow dances.
- She is a known violin virtuoso, but her fame somehow doesn't extend very far outside her hometown.
- Her seeing-eye dog, Ryuu, helps her around from place to place. Nagisa's parents ensured that she was given a companion who was trained by only the best.
- Nagisa is on the pale side. Because of this, it's very easy to tell when she blushes.
- She was very sheltered by her parents throughout her childhood. She is recently having trouble adjusting to meeting so many new people in such a different environment than she is used to.
